If you’re a nurse who is new to oncology, administering or planning to administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy, or caring for patients receiving chemotherapy this course is your first stop. You’ll receive the fundamentals of administration regardless of the volume and frequency of chemotherapy and immunotherapy administered. Plus, you’ll earn NCPD and an ONS Chemotherapy Provider Card (a small downloadable, printable card that indicates course requirements have been met). The e-book version of Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Guidelines and Recommendations for Practice is included with the course registration.
This course is available for purchase on its own, or as part of the Foundations of Oncology Nursing Practice Bundle. It is offered on demand. Instructions on how to immediately access the course will be sent to you in an automatically generated email receipt after you register.
You will enjoy access for 180 days from date of purchase, after which you will no longer be able to access the course.

Do You Administer Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy More Regularly?
You may benefit from the ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certificate Course. The course is intended for nurses who have knowledge of cancer basics and are in a position to regularly administer chemotherapy and biotherapy. It builds on a foundation of cancer knowledge and experience and is not an introductory course.

Who is eligible for the renewal course?
If you have earned your ONS Provider Card through Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Course, you are eligible to renew through the Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration Renewal Course every two years assuming that you are not more than 30 days past your expiration date. Check your ONS Provider Card or ONS profile for the expiration date of your card. Please note that the course name was changed on 3/1/18.
Content in this learning activity is applicable to meeting individual requirements for certification renewal through the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation's Individual Learning Needs Assessment (ILNA) renewal method.
