QOL is a multidimensional concept that can be difficult to define due to the subjective nature of both positive and negative aspects of life. In this course you will further discover how psychosocial issues in cancer, cancer survivorship, and palliative care impact a patient’s QOL.
This course is included in the CNS Bundle and AOCNP® Certification Review Bundle. It is a recommended course if you are studying for your certification exam or are renewing your certification via the ILNA option. Upon completion of this activity, the learner will demonstrate knowledge of evidence-based strategies and guidelines for quality-of-life, survivorship, and end-of-life care of the patient with cancer by achieving at least 80% on the post-test.
This course is designed for APNs with oncology experience who want to increase their knowledge about critical components of the APN's role in cancer care. This course is also appropriate for APNs preparing for advanced oncology certification or renewal via ILNA renewal points.
