Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) past president Brenda Nevidjon, MSN, RN, FAAN, a professor and lead faculty for the Nursing and Healthcare Leadership Specialty in the Masters' Program and coordinator for the Systems Division in the School of Nursing at Duke University in Durham, NC, has been selected by the American Nurses Association (ANA) board of directors to receive the 2012 ANA Honorary Recognition Award for her distinguished service to the nursing profession.
